Engineering solution:
Working in partnership with Broomfield Hospital on the creation of a state of the art of Hospital Sterilisation and Disinfection Unit facility in the old medical records building. Cfes undertook the full principal designer and contractor role.
The engineering solution included the installation and commissioning of full process services, 7 No new 15 Din washers and 4 No sterilisers including associated steam and drainage provisions.
Refurbishment of existing facility included; external cladding repairs, new steelwork, partitions, doors & ceilings, hygienic wall cladding and vinyl flooring. Full Mechanical and Electrical plant and installations included; New AHUs, chillers, RO, water tanks, controls, lighting, fire alarms, power, HV & LV cabling.
Cfes Ltd has since been awarded a 5 year contract for Facilities Management and De-contamination Test Engineering supporting the Hospital Sterilisation and Disinfection Unit.
