Engineering solution:
A Design and Build Contract, cfes Ltd were appointed by Spire Healthcare, to act as both Principal Designer and Principal Contractor.
The project comprised of the refurbishment of Theatres 1, 2, and Recovery areas, the associated Theatre ventilation plant upgrade and a boiler plant replacement. All works were undertaken in phases within a live hospital environment.
The construction package included replacement of all existing floor, wall and ceiling coverings, new automated door systems with integrated laser blinds and new fixed furniture to Anaesthetic and Prep rooms.
